General Information

This information is still under some construction, however these are the main things you need to know about her!
Faceclaim: Emily Kinney-Full Name: Odette Calliope Davenport-Age: 28-Hair Color: Blonde-Eye Color: Blue-Height: 5'4"-Ailments: Odette has dysarthria, so for the most part she is almost completely mute. Her condition was caused by an injury when she was a teenager, leaving it physically uncomfortable for her verbally communicate. She can say few words at a time, maybe very short sentences, and select sounds that are comfortable for her to make, however her voice is raspy and on the softer volumed side, so she mainly communicates through signing, writing, or by using a text to speech app. If she does go to speak she does stutter quite a bit with a few pauses here and there trying to get out what she's trying to say, which will visibly frustrate her.-Family Life: There's always one household that seems to have everything in order. White picket fence appearances, successful husband with a doting wife, academically exceptional children with a list of extra curricular activities so long that it seems that they're involved in just about everything there is in town? That would be the home Odette grew up in. Being the youngest, she was always expected to follow closely in her brother and sister's footsteps, held to the same exceedingly high standards that they were also held to and more to save face, to continue the illusion her parents had set for the world to see. Her and her siblings were constantly shown off like show ponies by their parents, every certificate, ribbon, medal, ect. they ever earned placed on an obvious display all over the house. Although from the outside her family seemed to have a life that was practically envious, however behind prim and proper doors lay odious truth. When the masks were removed warm and loving parental figures became condensing and crass at even the smallest hint of failure or falling under the bar, supportive siblings practically kicking and shoving each other over to kick the other out of the spotlight, a complete 180* turn. In order to keep the peace, she'd often do exactly what was expected of her, nothing less nothing more so that more wasn't demanded and she stayed under the radar; it worked, and her parents seldom scolded her considering it wasn't needed often, though this also put her on the higher end of the pedestal being presented to 'friends' as the golden child. It went without say, but she despised every waking moment of being around her folks, escaping away from everyone the moment the opportunity presented itself to do so. Life in the spotlight didn't last her long though after the incident that caused her condition, not that she minded it for the most part aside from being treated as less than a human being. Her family brought her up less and less practically trying to act as if she no longer existed, even going as far sometimes as to say she had gone to some lavish private boarding school just so they wouldn't have the pity of those who praised them in their accomplishments. It was a conflicting feeling. On one hand, she wasn't constantly under the crushing weight of expectation every second of the day, which was a relief, but to suddenly be treated as a vile irremovable stain in their life? That wasn't a feeling she enjoyed, no matter how much they had frustrated her most days. It caused a rift, so much so that when the day came that she was able to up and leave it all behind, not one second was wasted packing what few belongings she had and never looking back. Though she does still know where her family resides and how to get ahold of them if need be, not so much desired, the same couldn't be said about her for them. That was a bridge that was left to burn, and the ashes left to be swept off in the breeze.-Allergies: Unknown-Mannerisms: She is a fairly reserved individual, taking to solitude more often than not to try and stay out of people's way. Though, that does not mean she is not willing to be social, having a rather warm and welcoming personality once given the opportunity to display it. She's naturally very nurturing, looking out more for the well being of those around her in place of her own needs or wants no matter the trouble she may get in because of it. When she does interact with people, she is very bubbly, fun loving, and physically expressive.-Pets: She has one male calico cat named Monroe who she has leash trained in order to take him out with her.
